Change your Language
This is one tip I am sure no one has told you about. What you say and more importantly HOW you say it will affect your actions. Just look at the phrase - 'lose weight' - what does it signify? What happens if you lose something? That's right, you try to find it again. The same goes for weight loss.
If you think about losing weight, you will gain it back, sooner or later. So, changing your language makes sense. Instead of saying 'lose weight', say 'get rid of fat' or 'get rid of weight'. That is what you are going to do anyway; you are trying to get rid of fat permanently instead of just 'losing' it only to gain it back later.
Regular Exercise
This is the key to weight loss success: The key to losing weight- oops, I mean, getting rid of fat successfully- is to exercise regularly. If you want to burn fat fast, there is no better alternative to exercise. If you have never exercised before in your life it is only natural that you will be afraid.
In such a case, you can start by walking everyday. Then do some light aerobic exercises such as jogging, bicycling, swimming, etc. As you become accustomed to your activity level, you can take it further by doing cardio and resistance training. These last two exercises will help you burn fat faster than aerobics.
Monitor Beverages
Try to drink as much water as you can. You may not be aware of it, but water can help you get rid of fat. Also, replace your fizzy drinks, juice, and soda with water. Fizzy drinks and soda will only add more pounds to your body. Yes, fruit juice is better for you, but it still has calories. Try adding water to a glass of your favorite juice. Try to eat as much watery fruit as you can (watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew, grapefruit); they are refreshing and easily digested.
